The Great Lakes Shamanic Community (GLSC) is one of many teaching and ceremonial communities across the planet that follow the teachings of the Sweet Medicine SunDance path.  People attracted to our community resonate with the original purpose of the Twisted Hairs: a desire to learn and share with others; to mature and grow; to claim our beauty, and live life fully!

Every human is capable of greatness.  Teachings and ceremonies are essential, but aren’t always enough in and of themselves.  We’ve all been exposed to captivating ideas about what is possible, and have been changed by spiritual teachings and experiences.  What’s difficult is holding on to those changes over time! This is where other people come in.  It helps to surround ourselves with people of like mind, who are dedicated to self-growth and can cheer each other on.   In our Great Lakes Shamanic Community, we provide that for each other.
